The Chick-fil-A Bowl is proud to be a part of the new College Football Playoff and we are looking forward to hosting our first game in this new era following the 2014 season. But we're even more excited that we will be able to accommodate our renewal ticket buyers and make this transition together!

In order to secure our spot as one of the top six bowl games in the country and share hosting of the first-ever college football playoffs, we were required to make some adjustments to our normal seating configuration.

We have worked very hard to ensure that our long-time customers will be taken care of and are pleased to tell you that ALL renewal ticket buyers will still have the rights to purchase their full allotment of tickets, even with our elevation to the College Football Playoff. Many seat locations will have to change, but no current ticket buyers will lose the rights to any of their tickets.

Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for our customers and to ensure we communicate the necessary changes to you. Here is what we want you to know:

  • In 2014, you WILL be able to renew your FULL ticket order from 2013.

  • You will be permitted to purchase those tickets within the SAME seating level.

  • Your seating assignments will be shifted to comparable locations as a part of the new College Football Playoff quadrant seating configuration (see seating charts to the right)

  • Preference within the new quadrant seating configuration will be determined by your current ticket purchasing level.

  • If you purchase tickets in 2014 and 2015, you will be GUARANTEED the right to purchase tickets in 2016, when we host our first National Semifinal Game.

Thank you for your continued support of the Chick-fil-A Bowl. We value your commitment to our game and know our loyal ticket buyers are a huge part of our success

Frequently Asked Questions

I renewed my tickets to the 2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl.  Will I have my exact same seats in 2014?

One of the demands of the new College Football Playoff Group is to switch to a quadrant seating system.  You most likely will not have the same seat locations in 2014 as you have previously due to this change.

Will I be able to keep the same number of seats within my current seating level?

Yes, if you purchase Lower Level seats currently, you will still have the opportunity to keep your same number of seats in the Lower Level in 2014

Since my seats are not going to be the exact same, where will they be?

Locations will be shifted within the new seating chart this offseason by the Chick-fil-A Bowl Ticket Office.  Details on how we’ll conduct the shifting process exactly will be released prior to the 2014 renewal period.  New locations will be included on your 2014 invoice.

How will any ‘ties’ on seating locations work?

Ties on seat locations will be determined based off who purchased the most tickets in 2013.

I’ve never purchased Chick-fil-A Bowl tickets.  How can I purchase in 2014?

Click here to be placed on the 2014 Waiting List. We will contact all members of the Waiting List as tickets come available.

How much will 2014 tickets be?

Final 2014 pricing has not been determined at this time.  For a comparison, prices will be similar to current BCS Bowls outside of the BCS National Championship Game.  We will keep you updated on pricing as more information comes available.

How do I get access to National Semifinal Games when the Bowl hosts?

Buyers that purchase Bowl tickets in 2014 and 2015 will be guaranteed access to National Semifinal tickets in 2016.  In most cases, the seat location for all three years will be identical.

Will I be able to get National Championship tickets if I buy Bowl tickets?

If we are fortunate enough to secure the National Championship bid, we will send out information well in advance detailing how you will be able to purchase tickets.

Will your SEC Championship Ticket Policy change in 2014?

At this time, we do not anticipate any changes to our 2013 SEC Championship policy.  However, our final 2014 SEC Championship Ticket Policy will be released during the ticket renewal period as in previous years.

As a renewal buyer, will I still have access to tickets for the 2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games?

You will still have access to 2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game tickets.  Tickets for both Ole Miss-Boise State and Alabama-West Virginia will be available for our renewal buyers.  The first 500 buyers to purchase their 2014 bowl tickets will have the opportunity to purchase a package of two tickets to both 2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games.

How will you select teams in 2014 and beyond?

Teams will be determined by the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.  In non-Semifinal years, we anticipate hosting two Top 15 teams.  In Semifinal years, we will host either the #1 vs. #4 match-up or #2 vs. #3 match-up with the winner going to the National Championship.
