ATLANTA (Nov. 14, 2012) – Fewer than 1,000 tickets remain available for public sale for the 45th annual Chick-fil-A Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
Bowl officials issued the ticket update today, with ticket inventory dwindling, urging fans to purchase tickets now to avoid being shut out. The Chick-fil-A Bowl expects to announce its 16th straight sellout before teams are selected Dec. 2.
The Chick-fil-A Bowl’s current sellout streak of 15 games is second in the nation among bowls, behind only the Rose Bowl.

The Chick-fil-A Bowl will be played Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the Georgia Dome and will feature the first non-BCS selection from the ACC against an SEC opponent. The game will be televised nationally in prime time on ESPN. The ACC vs. SEC rivalry series in the Bowl is tied at 10-10 since the series began in 1992.
