Executive Assistant Patti Young Inducted into Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame

"Whether I was working bowl games, the Olympics, a race at Atlanta Motor Speedway or any other sporting event, all I ever wanted to do was treat our Atlanta visitors with “Southern Hospitality,” as if they were guests in my own home." -- Patti Young

On Nov. 1, the Chick-fil-A Bowl's very own Patti Young was inducted into the Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame. Patti, who has been with the Bowl for 42 years, currently serves as the office manager and executive assistant to Chick-fil-A Bowl President & CEO Gary Stokan.

Created in 1999 and presented by the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame award honors those who have spent their careers improving the city through exceptional hospitality. In addition to Young, the 2012 group of inductees include Dante Stephenson, owner of Atlanta restaurant Dante's Down the Hatch and Mary Rose Taylor, founder of the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum. Previous honorees include William Hartsfield, Hank Aaron and Chick-fil-A Founder Truett Cathy.
