The Battle for Bowl Week returns in 2011, as players from Auburn & Virginia compete in five events throughout Bowl Week. Each day, teams will face off in challenges, with the Battle for Bowl Week Trophy and bragging rights on the line.
This year's Battle for Bowl Week Events include:

Dec. 26: Nothin' But Net Basketball
Dave & Buster's Marietta
3 pre-selected members of each ACC and SEC Football Team will participate on the "Nothin But Net" Basketball video game
Each player will participate in one (1) timed thirty second round. The number of made baskets for each completed player will be added to their team's score. The highest total score between both teams will determine the winner for this event. The winning team will receive one (1) "Battle for Bowl Week" point.

Dec. 27: Brazilian Buffet
Sal Grosso
Each ACC and SEC team will have dinner at the Sal Grosso Brazilian Steak House. The total amount of protein consumed and the average amount of protein consumed per team member will be tracked at this event. The highest average amount of protein consumed per team member will determine the overall winner for this event. The winning team will receive one (1) "Battle for Bowl Week" point.

Dec. 28: Chick-fil-A Milkshake Combine
Team Milkshake Parties
Each ACC and SEC team will be treated to a milkshake party in the hospitality suite at their respective hotel. The competition element of this event will feature the starting offensive line for both teams. The Offensive Lines will be lead through a training session in milkshake assemble by Chick-fil-A team members. Following the training session, the Offensive Line will attempt to make the entire family of Chick-fil-A Milkshakes (Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookies & Cream and Peppermint) to Chick-fil-A standards in the quickest time. The Offensive Line with the quickest time will be declared the winner for this event. The winning team will receive one (1) "Battle for Bowl Week" point.

Dec. 29: Kart Racing
Andretti Karting & Games
Each ACC and SEC team will attend a night of activities at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. The players will have the opportunity to test their driving skills as part of the competition element of this event. The average lap time for each team will be totaled at the end of each teams visit. The team with the quickest average time will be declared the winner for this event. The winning team will receive one (1) "Battle for Bowl Week"point.

Dec. 30: Football Feud
Georgia Power Chalk Talk & Football Feud presented by the AJC
Team Members from the ACC and SEC will square off in a football version of the popular game show "The Family Feud". Each team will attempt to figure the top answers to questions asked of both ACC and SEC teams. The Football Feud is a two round game with the team with the highest score at the end of the two rounds (or a tie-breaker) declared the winner for this event. The winning team will receive one (1) "Battle for Bowl Week" point.
FINAL:
Auburn wins 270-127 over Virginia, wins the Battle for Bowl Week.
